Venezuelan and Russian officials signed accords covering energy, military and agricultural cooperation in Caracas, the capital of the South American oil- exporting nation.
The governments late yesterday agreed to form a venture between PDVSA-Servicios, the state oil company’s oilfield services subsidiary, and OAO Gazprom’s Latin American division to operate drilling rigs and gas compression equipment, said Eulogio del Pino, vice president of exploration and production at PDVSA. He was speaking on state television.
