BBC pays its 100 most senior staff £20m a year

The BBC is paying its 100 most senior staff a total of £20 million a year, it has admitted.

Figures released by the corporation disclosed the top 100 are paid an average of £199,316 – exceeding the Prime Minister’s £194,250 salary.
