"The Oprah Winfrey Show", one of the TV industry's biggest money-makers and the top-rated US daytime talk show, will end on Sept 9, 2011 after its 25th season on air, according to Chicago-based Harpo Productions Inc.

Winfrey, 55, is regarded as one of the most influential opinion-makers in the United States, and this year was No 45 on Forbes magazine's list of the world's most powerful people
