Excerpts:

Larry Wilkerson says (00:45, part 2): To find a voice that equals or exceeds the voice of the Pentagon is virtually impossible.

Larry Wilkerson says (05:23, part 2):  I worked in the Pentagon as assistant to chairman Powell when he was working for Secretary of Defense, Dick Cheney. He is the ultimate real-politiker, he is the ultimate realist, with a hypernationalist twist. Dick Cheney did not go to Iraq to end terrorism, Dick Cheney went to Iraq to gain access to the second largest known oil reserves in the World.

Comment: A rare, but a noteworthy admission. Dimiss some of the propaganda in the documentary. :) Peak Oil is addressed indirectly and a major portion of the video holds water. One more time people, this country is not run by the bankers, or the "illuminati," but by the military and the Pentagon. Any site propagating such information either works with the government (is on its payroll) or is run by misinformed individuals. Period.

In this four-part series, Rageh Omaar travels across Africa, investigating the consequences of US involvement in the region. In this first part, he investigates the genesis of Africom, the US military command for Africa which was launched in October 2008, and asks whether Barack Obama can turn US-African relations in a new direction.
